S-A-V-E-W-H-O: The Twenty-Two Years of Doctor Who

The Federation strikes again in yet another video knocked out over a weekend that attempts to poke fun at "Doctor Who" and "Blake's 7". Like most of their projects, they just don't know when to stop, beating a joke to death, then repeating said joke several times. It's not without its moments but anyone that isn't intimately familiar with the series or especially their fandoms are going to be completely out of luck. The Federation really can't be blamed for not being at the top of the comedy / satire game. It's not like they do it for a living. Series like "Saturday Night Live" that actually try this sort of thing on a weekly basis suffer from the same problem - the jokes run on way too long and the writers assume you're already in on the joke. The production values are on a par with a Todd Sheets movie, which is to say that there aren't any. The whole production looks like it was made up with the camera rolling which gives it this sort of train wreck fascination: you just can't turn away no matter how hard you try.
