rare but not worth the hassle of tracking down

After having rented Skullduggery at the video store back in the day and enjoying it for it's sheer lunacy i'd always wanted to see the directors other film and now that I finally have I must say I was underwhelmed as this film wasn't nearly as fun Skullduggery.

The first 30 minutes had way too many goofy and annoying sound effects(and the all-time worst movie theme song known to man, it wasn't even hilariously bad like the theme to "Cards of Death") but then suddenly after that the film changes gears and gets rid of the goofy sound effects(guess the filmmakers used up their wacky sound-effects budget, it was strange seeing an eye-poke with no sound effect to go along with it)and then the film becomes weirdly quiet during fight scenes(which are some of the most hilariously bad fights i've ever seen in a film as you can clearly see the actors pulling their punches and sometimes not even connecting) and there's some cringe-inducing mugging and overacting from the actors(who haven't done much else since unsurprisingly) I will say some of the filming locations were impressive and I was surprised at how many extras there were (this film apparently got a limited theatrical release back in the day)and the second half did have more funny-bad moments like I was hoping for, but as a whole this film proves that just because something is rare does not necessarily mean it's good.
