Waada (1957) was a super-hit musical film of 1957 and celebrated its Golden Jubilee at Pakistani cinemas. Producer / Director W.Z. Ahmed achieved a major success with this landmark film after migrating from India to Pakistan in the early 1950's. The music and film song lyrics became especially popular throughout Pakistan.
