After the somewhat disappointing but not terrible "Rough and Tumbleweed", I watched the second Inspector Willoughby short and was surprised. First off, the backgrounds, colors, & animation are very well done. Bright water colors, smooth and appealing characters, overall pretty good stuff. Voice acting is also well done, with Dallas McKennon doing a fantastic job, especially with the villain. The real bright spot and highlight is the conflict between the villain and Willoughby. This time around, Willoughby is much more involved and is utilized very well. He has some great moments, including especially the alligator gag, the pea shooter gag, and the one where he just grabs the villains and starts thrashing him around. Of course, the gator gag is repeated a bit too often, but nonetheless, this is still a really well done short. Congrats Paul J. Smith!
