Case of the Cold Storage Yegg

The inspector willoughby series was mostly just fine for what it was, simple, calm fun. However, this one surprised me. Bringing back Yeggs Benedict, they gave him a much stronger personality, though his goal is a little vague. Willoughby here is fun, as expected. The gags in this aren't all that funny, but are be try entertaining and well thought out. The part at the end with the skis was particularly a great highlight. Animation is solid here, with nice backgrounds and overall all better work from Les Kline and great stuff from Al Coe. They do reuse some animation, but with how entertaining this short is, it really didn't bother me much at all. Definitely recommended, and a bright spot during Lantz's waning era near the golden age of animation.
