    Garbage

What do you say about a movie that was so horrible that you wanted basically the whole cast to die? I'm not a violent person, but this move was....garbage! The plot was lacking, the actor (and I use that term loosely) were horrible. My advice for everyone who has even remotely thought of watching this, don't! If your looking for a good pirate movie go with my personal favorite, The Goonies, or Hook.

    Good, but Needed More

This was a very good movie, but a bit slow at times. Joely Fischer and Charlotte Ross are very good actors and gave great performances. They star as sisters who are close, but disagree. The younger sister (Ross) is abducted by modern-day pirates and the older sister (Fischer) seeks help from a man who is familiar with these particular men. The men who have abducted the woman have a long history of suspicious activity. If you are looking for something to watch when there is nothing on but reruns, see this. You may be only slightly disappointed, but you may enjoy it more than you think you will. It would have been better with some more action and a better actor as the lead pirate, but it was altogether a pretty good movie for a night that you cannot sleep.

An excellent TV film for someone with an open mind

The garish title promised a poor show but actually this is a good film with a thoughtful, articulate script (see especially the argument between the sisters), stunning photography (examples: the night ocean in the cove just before the argument; the sunsets over the island) strong performances from the cast, good character development and, most of all, the unequalled charm, beauty and sincerity of Joely Fisher in the lead role.

    Worst TITLE

Some screenwriters and producers don't seem to know how it works, usually you need to surprise the audience (if there is any for this one), but with a title like this it gets completely absurd. Guess what happens after about 45 minutes of movie boring around and knowing what is going to happen. You found it? NO? Yes, you are right!!! A kidnapping! (weird he!) And guess where!!! No i don't want to spoil it! LOL. And as a last test, guess who they are going to kidnap?

The rest of the movie is like in many TV-Movies, no brain actions, a blond chick running around most of the time in bikini and actors that think they are the men!!! They mean really mean it! I hope they never looked to the movie to see them self.

And the logic of the movie, well you better not have over 70 I.Q., otherwise you gone start to see to many mistakes and actions that have no sense, with dialogues

Very bad overall. 2/10 because i saw even worse then this but i liked the boats a lot, :).

I think the lead actress is bored.

Pretty average lifetime movie. There is little to no plot going on here and already several of the characters are getting on my nerves. The bickering couple has not development, the kids care attendant is hostile for no reason (which seems to be quite common in life time characters). The mother "Beth" is highly annoying. Just found out your daughter is missing and you keep crossing your arms and making faces line your either irritated and bored or cold. You'd think that would make you mad but okay Rest of movie is so so
