"Hawaiian Tropic" makes me think of suntan lotion & bikini babes and you get plenty of the latter here. Some models associated with this brand went on to become Playmates too. A standard montage intro with shots of Hawaiian scenery and a female narrator open things and we get quick interviews with the ladies involved before their scenes. Transitions takes place with the wearing of a flower Lei in an above average video from Playboy.
"Paradise" finds lady Debbie Ann a blonde, but the collar doesn't match the cuffs if you get my drift. Pretty in any case as she poses mostly laying down (4.5 mins). "Moonlit Beach" is Angel Boris - future Playmate Jul 1996 - appearing at night in a white dress and dancing near a fire as a Hawaiian man dressed up natively bangs on a big drum. Her butt gets some attention and for good reason - it looks great - before she ends up completely nude. I could have done with less shots of the guy, but otherwise a unique theme and a good scene (5 mins).
"Passion Fruit" finds a popular Asian model of the day Sung Hi Lee picking fruit in her white dress. Soon she is naked laying on lily pads in the water eating the fruit and rubbing it all over her body. She looks quite sticky with clumps of fruit literally on her. I gotta be honest ... I know it was meant to be sexy, but I didn't find it visually appealing (5.5 mins). "Jungle" is Lana Gibbons in the rainforest in a white dress too which she removes, but keeps her white panties on. Poses nude for the most of this, but positions herself in certain ways or puts her hand between her legs at times. I don't know if she was uncomfortable showing or if I'm reading too much into things. She looks great in any case (3.5 mins).
"Wild Orchids" is Amy Hayes in all white - shirt, bra and panties - but never appears fully nude. Always wearing some white piece of clothing (3 mins). "White Sand Beach" is model Michelle Stanford and I'll make mention that she's from Georgia because I found her southern accent cute. She appears in a white robe along the beach and lays in the sand near the edge of the water and rubs her body. Tide comes in and splashes her mildly (3 mins). "Secret Island" is Sarah Hutchinson and can you guess what she's wearing? If you said a white bikini - you win. She initially has a crown of flowers on, but it's off by the time she reaches a hammock then the bikini top comes off. Up against a tree and the bottoms go and there's a wonderful shot of her butt. I think this was my favorite segment. I loved her light skinned appearance, nice hair, beautiful face & body (4.5 mins).
"Waterfalls" finds Doreen Wetzel breaking the white wardrobe streak in a blue bikini which comes off, but we don't see much of her as she's seated (3.5 mins). "Beach Sirens" has Scottie Hood & Kristen Holland tag team on the beach strictly posing. We go from day to night as the best shots of them come briefly in the sun (3.5 mins). "Lagoon" is a treat if you like busty blonde women as Shellani Taarud has got you covered. She's wearing a shirt and skirt wrap that don't stay on long and we get a nice shot of her butt. Back on land she uses half of a coconut to retrieve water and pour it down her breasts. She lies down and her big boobs get a lot of close-ups and attention until the scene comes to an end (4.5 mins).
"Hawaiian Earth" sees Ashley Allen - Playmate Aug 1992 - is in a yellow bikini that isn't on very long. A quick tanning lotion moment and then the standard posing with the black volcanic sand on her at times (3 mins). "Volcano" features a lady - Shana Hiatt - you might recognize if you at a fan of poker (particularly the early 2000's). She has a boy/girl scene on the beach getting her body and breasts rubbed standing and then sitting atop the guy. For a bit of trivia, the dude in the scene is male pornstar Tommy Gunn (4 mins).
I went into 'Girls of Hawaiian Tropic' pessimistically thinking it wouldn't deliver for one reason or another. Thankfully it proved me wrong and turned out to be a really decent video. Playboy delivers a solid title with the winning combo of sun, water and bikinis or clothes that don't stay on too long and many beautiful women baring it all.
