Good detective stories

Good stories of detective Byomkesh Bakshi. Worth watching.

Probably one of the best TV show ever

Spent my childhood watching it, the stories and characters still give me goosebumps. There are some stories I still remember even after so many decades have passed.

So simple and brilliantly performance of each artist..story is literally interesting

Basu Chaterji's one of the most wonderful work till date

However it's an adaptation but still no adaptation had been completed with this much perfection except Basu Chaterji, with some unforgettable performances from Rajit Kapur , KK Raina. The soul of all the episodes were suspense, background score & simplicity.

The problem solving skills by Byomkesh is amazing in this series, the detailed explanation of every case with some nice background music. This series will remain in the golden memory of 90s kids.

Even though stories span across two decades, the series was not shot as per episodes. In fact, it was shot like a movie. The crew would go to a location and shoot all the scenes for that location in the entire series.
