His appearance marked the first film role for prolific actor Abel Salazar in approximately 15 years. It would also be his final role in a theatrical feature film, ending a career in theatrical feature films, which included producing and directing, in over 40 years. He would finish his acting career with roles in several episodic television series before succumbing to Alzheimer's Disease in 1995.
