First of a series of six hour long movies about the history and life in Lisbon during the 20th century. Each movie covered about a decade, starting with a documentary based on contemporaneous (tinted) photographs, and a staged scene based on a Portuguese writer of great standing. The movies were shown weekly at RTP2, a public chain that had a limited audience then.
