Still Synchronized

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit calls his girl. He's bought the house, he's got the marriage license, let's get on with it. She agrees, but the mustachioed villain kidnaps her.

It's pure synchronized work, even though the need for such had long ago passed away. Everyone moves to the beat of the bouncy "Annie Doesn't Live Here Anymore" as the rubber-hose animation of Walter Lantz's staff throbs. They were still trying to sustain Oswald's star power. However, while this is a lively six minutes, Oswald's lack of a consistent character was hurting the franchise.
