IMDb lists four videos shot by Henri Pachard on a productive 1988 trip to Europe with nearly identical casts: this one plus "Samantha and the Deep Throat Girls", "So Deep So Good" and "Divine Decadence". Plenty of moolah was flowing into the '90s for professional porn and this offers the novelty of new faces and locations.
Tom Byron stars and employs an effective Southern drawl as a Texas boy who inherits a lavish mansion from his uncle located on the Riviera. Nina Hartley is in charge of the place, and scripter Raven Touchstone utilizes a Cinderella gimmick to fill the story time between six acceptable XXX scenes.
Opening voice-over intones about The Legend of the Golden Mask, which grants the wearer ultimate power. This proves to be just a tacked-on justification for what follows. In fact, a beauty wearing a gold outfit and golden mask humps Byron one night and then flees, causing him to pine for her and seek her out a la Cinderella's lass with the glass slipper left behind.
Hartley endeavors to help him and plenty of Euro talent, male and female, fills in the blanks in the sack. Two threesomes are enacted by Nina, proving once again her prowess whether as a youngster appearing a bit older here or her now-familiar matronly (but hot to trot) presence on screen as she aged naturally (with breast augmentation along the way, years after this one was made).
Nominal heroine and romantic interest is Alicia Monet, unimpressive especially considering the legendary leading ladies over the years who have been permitted to sample Byron's wares. Pachard has the benefit of lovely Riviera locations, but doesn't do much with the opportunity.
