La Blue Girl is a hentai classic. Hentai, meaning "pervert," is a genre of anime centering around sexual situations. It's the animated equivalent of porn, only usually it has storyline.

La Blue Girl is one of the best examples of hentai available today. Aside from fantastic action sequences and very detailed and varied sexual situations, La Blue Girl actually has a decent story playing somewhat on Japanese history and ninja culture.

If you're looking for something that's both an adventure and a turn on, then go for it. If you prefer to be more prudent, run to the hills. Japanese animated pornography can be as softcore as a late-night Cinemax serial, but La Blue Girl kinkier and more twisted than nearly anything you've ever seen. I think it beats Urotsukidoji for perversion, and that's saying a lot.

Every hentai must answer this question, and La Blue Girl answers it. Over and over. It is the story of Miko Mido, a young woman training to be the master of a very specific type of martial arts, having to do entirely with sexual power. By controlling her own sexuality, she can channel it into actions no human can do.

Throughout the series, Miko Mido uses her power to dispense justice on demons, save her family, and protect some very special artifacts from groups of ninja out to steal the sexual power her tribe is so well-known for.

The series (and especially the first and second episodes) are entertaining, but they do require a MASSIVE suspension of disbelief. When people talk about "tentacle porn", La Blue Girl is usually at the top of the list. It is best to watch it with an open mind, and with the intent to laugh... The dubbing is hilarious, and quite well done for a hentai.

If you are not looking for animated porn, do not rent this tape. If you are a fan of the hentai genre and still haven't seen this, you've been missing out on a classic. Not to say that LBG is excellent in all respects, but i have never seen an all-around excellent hentai, so this one is quite possibly as close as it gets. All the erotic scenes that involve more than one participant are all rape and violence which is quite usual although upsetting. The plot thickens and the story gets quite interesting by the middle of the series but by the episode 6 it's as an incoherent imbecilic mumbo-jumbo as it can get. On the other hand, it gets progressively more explicit from episode to episode, so you may still want to watch the entire series.

As usual, try to get a subtitled version, as they tend to suffer less from the censorship than the dubbed ones (not sure about this particular video, but usually that's the case).

I like La Blue Girl. There I said it. I freely admit to liking hentai anime, but I like La Blue Girl as more than just porn. I would still watch it if it was censored to hell, or redone with all the sex offscreen. The sex is not what makes this series enjoyable. The La Blue Girl series is funny, well-written, and reasonably well animated (not great by anime standards, but still kicks the crap out of most American animation). I like the chracters and the stories. True, they center around sex, but if the sex wasn't graphic, it would still be funny. La Blue Girl is a hentai that even people who don't like hentai could enjoy, as long as they can get past the sex.
