La nymphomane

Anthony Spinelli is very serious in this porn movie, closer to the intellectual films of a Bergman, specifically "Scenes from a Marriage" than the usual porn fodder.

The marriage of Tami White and Randy Spears is on the rocks, with Tami behaving like a n nymphomaniac, sleeping around as her husband neglects her. Spinelli uses the in-your-face technique of both Randy and Tami delivering personal and philosophical blackout monologues directly to the camera, between sex scenes.

Tami is quite sexy, and both she and Randy do an excellent job delivering their lengthy monologues. Porn fans seeking mere sensation (and XXX action) will be surprised by the depth of the dialogue's content, especially in Randy's arresting first monologue that covers many topics ranging from the Earth's overpopulation to more personal ruminations on the state of marriage.

I found the last reel quite cryptic, especially the ending, which seemed to contradict the previous summation enunciated by Spears.
