Perhaps making only longer and better short might have worked better.

"Cartoons on Tour" combines live action with four different mini cartoons. The film begins with a lady waiting to run off and marry her boyfriend. In the meantime, she reads comics and they come to life. And, through the course of the day, again and again, folks stop to read a comic and it comes to life. My favorite is the first one and it's about a man who is stranded on a deserted island. The worst is the second, as it features a terribly stereotypical black child guaranteed to offend man...plus it just isn't that funny.

Overall, a mildly interesting film that manages to be half cartoon and half live action. Nothing too special here but a pleasant enough time passer.
