Body Music: Part II

A new director and re-casting of supporting parts are noticeable differences in this acceptable sequel where Keisha (looking terrific!) returns as Rachael Carrera, a big Hollywood star hell-bent on getting her pet project "Raw", an NC-17 aimed soft porn movie, produced. Replacing Randy West as her antagonist is Mike Horner as studio head, putting on the pressure to prevent Keisha from ruining her reputation, as his film library has her hits and being involved in scandalous content will hurt its value.

Helping Keisha get to the finish line with "Raw" is its director Eric Edwards, her agent Scott (played by Tom Byron in the first movie but now a white-haired character actor James R. Sweeney, whose many mainstream roles even include a "Seinfeld" episode) and her assistant and gal pal Nina Hartley.

Peter North co-stars as a hunk who auditions for the male lead in "Raw" and is constantly humping his girlfriend Tiara (both hardcore and softcore) here. A young Taylor Wayne is very appealing as a starlet whose career is being sponsored by Horner.

The acting is good, but the story by producer-director Jerry Ross is way too cornball. A hurried happy ending is very phony, but fans can certainly get a bit of sustenance staring at Keisha and Taylor in action.
