One of the few banned Traci Lord films still readily available, "Peek a Boo Gang" is a poorly made feature directed sloppily by Ron Jeremy.

Gina Valentino is the star, a girl who leaves her boyfriend (Greg Rome) to head to L.A. in pursuit of an acting career. Fellow jail-bait porn stars of the time Lords and Heather Wayne all live together and become involved with a crummy strip club, source of the video's title.

Lords is sexy as usual, and her big natural boobs a treat to behold, though she's upstaged by even bustier April Maye. Valentino's role is poorly written.

Jeremy tries to make fun of casting-couch auditions with tedious scenes of a theater director auditioning Gina and then Maye for a role in his new play, corny and stupid filler.

Too many scenes stall using old gimmicks

A cast worth fireworks is given a pretty mundane As the Strip Pole Turns soap opera type of plot. Lynn (Gina Valentino) leaves her hot boyfriend to room with Tracy while she pursues an acting career in Hollywood. I might ask, then why is she trying out for a dancer at The Peek-a-Boo Club, where the only acting that takes place is on the sofa with James Bandit (Mr. Burt Reynolds twin in other films) who's also the owner and Tracy's steady companion? The sex scenes are really hot but familiar stalling tricks take place, lowering excitement instead of raising it. Girls walking into the room, cuts through the best parts to nightclub scenes, etc. just aren't handled well by director Ron Jeremy for the intended effect.
