Only monkeys yelling. They show how much people are or were abused to join a fraternity. Now ofcourse it is another level, poor people have to join the frats because they either do not have friends or do not have any other special quality.
If you have seen "full metal jacket" and how the sargent treats the soldiers, it is the same.
Only the strong survive? Is it worth it? Is the heart enough? What are they trying to prove with all those challenges?
I think it sucked but ok to know how some people's mentality is.

Brilliant movie, if anyone ever gets the chance to see this you're lucky! The thing is that it isn't a documentary, it's all scripted, I was fooled the whole time. That's why HBO won't show it, it's because they were tricked and so was sundance!
The creators of this project are surely some of the smarter film makers out there, even though his newer movies don't compare to the intensity this one does. Frat House is a must see.

Listen people...I am the real star of this movie. If you want the truth...contact me at joelaudadio@optonline.net. Most of your comments are ridiculous, idiotic, and useless... It seems as if most of you are clueless about this movie, clueless about the efforts it took to make this movie, the reality of the film itself, the dangers of hazing, the sickness about myself and my true to life insanity... so get a grip...and understand this... BLOSSOM IS VERY REAL.... BLOSSOM IS BACK.... BLOSSOM IS ALIVE AND WELL... BEWARE As for the directors of this film...it was an absolute pleasure meeting Todd and Andrew. They are very talented young men, who will make it very big in their lifetime. I owe them quite a bit...for helping me realize the type of person I am, the type of person I want to be...and the type of person I can pretend to be...
I finally saw a bootleg tape of this "long suppressed" documentary & have come to the conclusion that the reason it was never aired by HBO (as was intended) is that there is NOTHING in "Frat House" that hasn't been covered before & covered in greater depth. Back in the 1980s the TV show "60 Minutes" did a 20 minute piece on frats that blew "Frat House" right out of the water. "Frat House" comes across like an overlong edition of NBCs tabloid show "Dateline". There was nothing shocking or revealing about "Frat House". Sure all frat boys are morons, we all know that. Anyone who so desperatley needs to be part of a group that they will submit to extreme humiliation is an overgrown adolescent wuss. Thank God for frats though: In my job I have to review resumes & I immediatley throw out ANY that boast of fraternity affiliation. Who needs a spineless follower as an employee? Anyhow, "Frat House" is a routine, by the numbers TV show & nothing else.
This movie suffered serious criticism for paying the fraternities and fraternity brothers to act out pieces of the movie. The main school involved does not even pledge in the Spring, as this movie made viewers believe. A good movie to see as long as you realize it is developed to perpetuate the stereotypes the film makers have about fraternities. I did enjoy seeing the movie, it was well produced, and had a good "documentary" feel. HBO will not allow this movie to be presented on TV, and for good reason, it just is not true. There are several instances in the movie where brothers in the fraternity actually act as though they are pledges and act out scenes which supposedly happen in a fraternity.
