Excellent Movie

I watched the first half of this movie (time did not permit me to see it entirely). It's very nice by what I see, makes you see the ambient of world war one from a more personal level. I think at least some of the planes used in this movie were original, I think the Fokker Dr I in this film was one that was used by v Richthofen, but I don't remember exactly.

During the filming, one of the Pilots, named Horst Selter, one of the actual Pilots used from the Luftwaffe was killed during the filming by plane crash. The broken propeller exists also. His brother Rolf was also a Luftwaffe Pilot, he was a Staffel-Fuhrer (Squadron Commander) in Kampfgeschwader "Boelke", shot down and killed over Tarnopol, Ukraine, on March 30, 1944, while flying an Me 110 bomber.
