Pretty ambitious stuff for 1918.
Successful little effort from Claude Flemming who wrote, directed and starred in this mini epic! John Faulkner plays the dark, villainous and eminently booable sea captain who kidnaps the demure Irene from Canada and sails the high seas before her rescue can be accomplished.
At 55 minutes, quite a long film for its year!
