This has simply one of the best opening sequences of any film I've seen. I don't have much else to add to the other reviews except this - despite the gritty realism, the film has at its core a kind of romantic humanism. It is really about love. That love comes in various and strange forms, but love drives everything that happens, it makes everyone act the way they do - the good and the bad. See it, see it, see it! It seems I have to write a minimum of ten lines before IMDb considers this a review. Well, blah blah blah blah. Cucumbers. Nodules. The dog at sea films acorns, awaiting his master the wind. Right. Ten lines. Ignore the last 3.

This is one of my favourite movies of all time, and I must say that it's not a Pulp Fiction(another of my favourites)-ripoff, as some people say. It's a totally different story, the only thing they have in common is the setting. And another thing, a part of the movies is shot in Hallonbergen, where a friend of mine lives. Moahaha...
Wow! I've just seen this film, and it left me stunned. Not knowing anything about this movie, I was unprepared for its scope of humanity, even though it is interconnected and interweaving plots were played through just a few characters. Whether it was the skinheads, the troubled teenage boy and girl, the policemen or the others, they are all hard to look away from as their individual tales unfold and by the end you have a sense that you know more about people in general than you did before. But I cannot say it was wonderful... more like emotionally disturbing. But I guarantee that you will not be able to look away either.
This is just another Swedish copy of a famous Hollywood movie. It is called "a Swedish pulp fiction", it's true, a direct copy and nothing more. Some of the characters are funny but they doesn't bring the movie up. Don't waste money renting it, watch the original, "pulp fiction".
I didn't have high hopes for this movie when I bought it. I expected yet another clone of Pulp Fiction. What I got was far beyond my expectations. This movie is without any doubts a master piece. It might have been inspired by Pulp Fiction, but it's absolutely not a clone. This movie stands on its own, with very steady legs. While Pulp Fiction is focused toward action, Tic Tac is primarily focused toward drama. The script is very clever written, the directing is superb, and the actors do an excellent interpretation of their characters. This is without any doubts one of the TOP 20 movies of all time according to me, and an absolute must see.
