Dave Hardman imitating Peter Sellers as "Inspector Clitsoe" is awful, and his director Carl Danser incompetent in this lousy spoof of "A Shot in the Dark". Rendering it hard to sit through is a rinky-dink musical score, endlessly repeating an off-key ripoff of Mancini's "Pink Panther Theme".
Crystal Gold brings her big bazooms to the show playing a Countess who is auctioning off her fertility object Pink Juju, and when it's stolen, Clitsoe bores the assembled cast with flashbacks in tired whodunit mode.
It's all an excuse for plenty of gonzo sex, with and without rubbers, and emphasizing doggystyle-action. One actress, Tia Gunn, spends most of her time licking up cum deposited on the other girls' bodies. And the worst idea from director Danser is a tired running gag of Clitsoe's horny femme assistant Channone (oddly cast in the Burt Kwouk role) behaving like a dog in heat, having to be constantly shooed away by Hardman or Gold.
Like the pornos of old, it ends with the cast having a dull orgy. Following the pattern of '90s porn, a second VHS "sequel" was also released, with Channone dropped from the cast.
Attempts at slapstick comedy are ridiculous, and Hardman's constant mispronunciation of words is unfunny and run into the ground.
