Existential search

A few gloomy everyday life of a young city dweller. Empty long conversations, cigarettes and alcohol, random meetings, the same spontaneous skirmishes, rare composition of poems and plays for the drawer - a typical set of activities for the day.

The essence is the eternal search for the meaning of existence. Potential hope that the random selection will one day cease to be futile and some truth will be revealed, or several. In an abstract lottery, a lucky ticket will be drawn one day. Or, on the contrary - oppressive melancholy without any context and content. A set of scenes and sketches, nothing more. Do this or that - everything will remain as it is. Which interpretation will be closer - depends on the viewer.

Outside the brackets - one of the key representatives of what is commonly called the "new wave" in cinema, originally from Kazakhstan.
