The version I saw of this film was the Blockbuster rental with a similar title, but a swear word in it.
This film was funny as hell. It was also true to the bone. If you have ever spent time in Hollywood or the area around it, you will understand the humor. If not, you may not 'get it' at all.
The story of two people in the business struggling to make it until they finally reach a breaking point, it is a rare gem. It states it is a drama, but it is a drama as much as Deer Hunter is a comedy.
Loren Dean is wonderful, as always, as a supporting actor. Jamie Kennedy was able to hold his own well. His performance is especically impressive during the poodle scene. The only downside was Carmen Electra but we can't have everything.

Loren Dean (who i never heard of before this movie)was hilarious as the overfed, over-drugged, oversexed, imbecile, B-movie star, whose career is spinning out of control, Jamie Kennedy was okay as the straight man and Amy Smart looking stunning, loved the scene where Kyle Carey (Dean) finds out Amy Smart's(character)father is the head of Columbia studios and coked out of it, replies, "Who knew he had such a foxy daughter" and the Carey's philosophy on the "Law of the Jungle" priceless, the Jew references about his agent, "He's the the greediest Jew in town" and "put that Jew spin on it". This movie had me rolling the whole time, highly recommended!
The acting may be okay, the more u watch this movie, the more u wish you weren't, this movie is so horrible, that if I could get a hold of every copy, I would burn them all and not look back, this movie is terrible!!
I found this film to be outstanding. There's nothing more refreshing than a blatantly sexual film depicting overweight bakers in a race against time, trying to prevent death by popcorn drowning. What's more, the ending, a satirical look at today's current events, is more satisfying than that of the likes of the Shawshank Redemption, or the Deer Hunter. I give this movie a ten out of ten, for not only good acting, but a horribly unbelievable plot which actually seems plausible.
Starf*cker , what i thought it was called Starstruck. Oh well it was an ok film i guess but on the other hand it wasnt. Loren Dean has what it takes to became a great headlining actor. His role in this film however is not going to be the one to get him there. This film was somewhat funny but other then that there wasnt much to it. I would not recommend this film to anyone unless they like stupid, very stupid humour.
