Shah Rukh Khan’s first movie, which he signed when he transitioned from television to Bollywood, was Hema Malini’s Dil Aashna Hai. Even though the film was released in 1992, after Khan’s Deewana, factually, it is the first film Srk had signed.

While Deewana might have fetched him a Filmfare Award for Best Debut, his experience on the sets of Dil Aashna Hai with Hema Malini had a significant impact on his life.

During an appearance on India TV’s show Aap Ki Adalat, Shah Rukh Khan he revealed that Hema Malini didn’t like his hair at the first meeting. She took a comb and started settling it. That was when he decided that he would never leave Mumbai.

Mumbai, Aug 14: Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, who shared screen space with Shammi Kapoor in 'Chamatkar' (1992), paid his homage to the late actor at his Malabar Hill home Sunday evening.

Shah Rukh, who came in a black BMW, did not stay inside the house for very long and also restrained from speaking to the media.

Also present was actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is Shammi Kapoor's grandnephew.

Pankaj Kapoor is not an alien name to acting connoisseurs. He also became a household name after his hit TV series Office Office which was a social satire on corruption and bribery practices going around in offices. Good news is that Pankaj Kapoor’s Mussaddi Lal character from the series is reportedly being adapted into a film titled Chala Mussaddi-Office Office.

Fans will also be happy to know that the entire original cast, comprising Sanjay Mishra, Deven Bhojani to name a few, will be retained.
