    The least of the trilogy

Like its immediate predecessor ("Subhumanoid Meltdown"), the third part of the "Class of Nuke'Em High" series is not a horror-comedy but a pure spoof. Unfortunately, it's not as funny as Part 2 (some of the funniest jokes can be found in the closing credits - "stand-in for Brick Bronsky: Brick Bronsky", etc.). It is short on genuine comic inspiration, though long on exposition (a lot of the dialogue explains things that have already been explained), weirdness, self-referentiality, gooey special effects, and hot girls, a lot of them carrying big guns (Lisa Star provides knockout T & A). Generally speaking, I like the spirit of the film more than the film itself. (**)

Holy "I've got a glowing hand" Batman!

Just when you thought Classof Nuke Em High couldn't get any weirder...or any worse...it does. That is not necessarily a good thing, but hey, this film is still fun! It seems that Victoria and Roger from the previous film have twins, an evil kid and a good kid and they don't know each other exist. So basically the film is them trying to find each other and using their glowing hand to satisfy girl's sexual fantasies. Although the lead girl in this one is...pretty ugly...Trish. She brings the film down because she is annoying but all she does is fart which is actually kind of funny. This film is more of the same of the last film, just worse...Tromie makes an appearance as well as Greenie The Weenie Man, but they are not in long enough. It is pretty funny how people at the nuclear reactor care more about whether the chicken or the egg came first than trying to save the nuclear reactor from blowing Tromaville to a gob of green goo. Also, this is a good film because this marked Ron Jeremy's first appearance in a Troma film and he has become important to Tromaville making appearances in Terror Firmer, Citizen Toxie, and Tales From The Crapper. So wipe those tears, this is a Troma movie, and it may not be as good as the previous ones but it is fun!

Not as funny as the others, and much more slow-paced

This movie picks right off where the last Class of Nuke 'Em High finished. This installment tells the story of two twin brothers, one raised to do good and one raised to do evil in the name of the Nukamama corporation. It features a lot of the cast from the last movie, which is good. However, the pace is much slower and the movie drags along quite a bit. Some of the same jokes are re-used (such as the "key grip"-"key grope" in the credits), and there's more silly jokes, such as fart jokes or meta- references to Troma movies. There's no massive climax as in the last one, no gigantic squirrel or some sort of mayhem... All in all, entertaining but a bit of a letdown compared to its predecessors.

"So I did what came naturally," I smashed the tape into a million, zillion little pieces!

More than anything else, this movie made me want to slit my wrists. It's only maybe an hour long, but it FEELS like several more at LEAST. Not only that, but at least half of it is just a RECAP of the LAST SEQUEL! I think Tromaville was actually better when they were just bad naturally, and not trying to do it on purpose. They used to be "enjoyably bad" and now they're "very, very painfully bad."

Class of Nuke 'Em High Part 3 The Good, the Bad and the Subhumanoid: More of the same

Considering that the first two Class of Nuke 'Em High movies got a combined 5 out of a potential 20 I wasn't expecting much from this third offering and I was right in my assumption.

Arguably Troma's second most famous franchise Nuke 'Em High are standard Troma affairs. Namely they look cheap, they fail to be funny, riddled with puerile humor and lots of t&a.

Full of the usual punks, 80's music and naff looking gore I was unsurprisingly unimpressed by this third movie and it's nonsensical tale of super powered twins.

Truth be told I hate Troma, I think they're moronic movies and don't believe I've watched a single one of their films and considered it watchable.

    Dumb, childish and ugly.

    The Good:

Succeeds to be what it sets out to be

Kaufman didn't make a cameo appearance

    The Bad:

    Dumb

    Looks naff

    Simply not funny

Things I Learnt From This Movie:

Pointing at big scary things instead of running away from them is perfectly logical

I don't care how ridiculous it looks, I want Dicks jacket!

Two Dicks are better than one

I'm not sure a 2 day old should have a girlfriend

This movie was directed with no hands
