Mission Top Secret is one of the several Australian kid/teen shows that I watched growing up. I still remember it fondly many years later as an adult in my 30s.
The show was so much fun with all of innocent yet brave kids who dared to dream and to embrace the challenges that they stumbled upon. The team work, the invention and the problem solving exhibited was terrific and I wish TV shows these days can emulate. I love watching all of gadget and tech that they used in the show. In a weird way, the fact I became an engineer probably has something to do with watching the show.
Mission Top Secret is one of many other great Aussie shows that you should watch such as Spellbinders, Ocean Girls, Thunderstone and etc. These shows are simply the best at showing how inspiring kid/teen TV shows can be.

Mission Top Secret was a show that took Australian kids by storm. Though it didn't have the longest running time I still remember it to this day. A farm just outside of Sydney on the outside looked normal, but hidden within was the control center for the network Centauri. All over the world Centauri agents (all youths) had computer notebooks (modern for the time) which linked them to the network. Together, they could solve crimes and stop evil adults in it's tracks. It's main ingredients were 'kid power', the mix in of technology and the fact that, to many children it seemed like they could one day be apart of Centauri (I myself admit i used to talk into my calculator like I was on the show!). The acting was great, the adventure was always terrific and I shall always remember Mission: Top secret fondly. - Like they used to say "Centauri out."

- Alternate versionsFour episodes contain one complete case. These episodes feature flashbacks at the beginning and a little preview at the end for the next episode. However, those cases were also shown in a complete form, meaning the episodes were edited together to create a telemovie for every case. These movies omitted the flashbacks, the preview and some other footage and had a running time of ca. 90 minutes.
