    A must see film

I've been searching for this movie for minutes now. No one seemed to be able to remember the title, but we all remember the animation at the beginning of the film. We loved this movie. I mean, who wouldn't want to hypnotize parents to do chores, duh. I mean hello, giving up smoking is one thing. Turning your parents into full time workers; genius. Thanks for helping us to find the title. This movie comes highly recommended by college students abroad, attached to childhood films. Who doesn't love the mother (Kerns) from "Growing Pains", especially when she works for the children, which she pretty much did on the show. Otherwise, this film is a must see, though now I doubt you can rent it, or therefore purchase it except from ebay. This review is much needed against the recommendations posted by Rich Roesing from Sofia, Bulgaria, who first saw it free on Bulgarian cable.

A harmless way to spend an hour-and-a-half

Dad's always working and never has time to come to Justin's baseball games. Older brother Tyler models himself after Chet in "Weird Science". What's Justin to do? Naturally, plant subliminal suggestions in Mom and Dad's stop-smoking self-hypnosis tapes. Before long, Justin and little sister Monica are living large. How long can it last before Mom and Dad learn that they're being manipulated?

Actually, this movie wasn't bad. It wasn't good, either, but it was some harmless fun. A few recognizable actors signed on for the film, including Lyman Ward, whom you might remember as Ferris Bueller's dad. Come to think of it, I'm probably predisposed to any movie that features cast members from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".

I saw the movie for free tonight on Bulgarian national TV; I'd recommend it as a rental, as long as it's on the cheap shelves and you've already seen the good new movies.

I am going to watch it again an I will change my comments if I change my point of view...

Well, I'm disappointed that this movie has so few fans...

I agree that there are many other fine and even greater than this one but still it deserves more than that! I've watched a very long time ago and I found it very good. Now I'm gonna watch it again to see whether I am going to like it again but still I'm sure that for the little ones it's a suitable movie.

As far as I remember it's about a family that is always busy and can't find enough time for the kids who end up in hypnotizing the parents.

There's no brutal action in it which differs it from films nowadays, but I'm guessing that kids would love it.

A funny movie about 2 kids living it large at their parents expense.

I really liked it. It was funny and I love all the actors in it including James Marsden. I thought it was really worth watching and it was better then other moves that call them self "funny". Un like other movies it had me laughing. All the actor had something about them that made it better. the casting was very good and the filming was great. I really like anything with James Marsden in it. he has been in better movies but this one was one of the funny ones. the kids were really cool in it too. and they acted very well. It had bounce and I like that about it. I also liked the father, who was a very good actor too. It Was Really Good. XXOO From Sarah
