An autistic boy holds the key to identifying two brutal killers.

This is not a bad movie as I've read in reviews. True, a lot of time is used up on Kelsey Grammer's "suffering" and the kid's level of autism -- and that is boring. But the really interesting parts of the movie happen between the two psycho-baddies. These guys aren't just bad or "hollywood crazy." They are mental. Tinsley (Jeff Kober) is totally dependent on his partner for direction ... even though he is petulant about being controlled. And his partner is uncompromisingly intent on having it all his way. One other interesting overtone ... I could be wrong, but I get a sense of an implied sexual relationship between them. Oooh, interesting power games. I like this movie because of these two. Unfortunately, not enough time is given over to their character development. Whatever, they did a great job with what they were given.

I thought it was pretty good!

I caught this movie on t.v. and thought it was a pretty good movie. Sure, Kelsey does sound like Frasier but the rest of the cast such as that cuty pie little boy was so cute and very believable as an autistic child. I also enjoyed watching Dean Stockwell, post Quantum Leap in this film. He was excellent in the role as the police chief. All in all a good film!

    Kelsey Grammer as a cop?

No matter what he says in this TV movie, whether grunting, laughing, yelling or whispering, Kelsey Grammer still sounds like Frasier Crane. I'm not sure he can break out of that role, ever. It was like watching Frasier playing a cop.

It didn't help that the film is really the same old TV movie plot, about an autistic child who witnesses a murder, and then has to be protected by Kelsey the cop, from the sadistic murderers. My husband liked it, I didn't. Really not much worth watching; but if you feel you have to Grammer is the only reason to watch it.

    A bit embarrassing

Had to watch a film with Kelsey Grammar in it but it so poor it was embarrassing. In his first scene he turns up at the hospital with a black top and white jogging bottoms and a gun on it's holster no jacket - he looked stupid. The acting was poor but the script was worse. Maybe it was the direction because he is better than this and it doesn't have to be comedy. Even Dean Stockwell seemed to be going through the motions. The only good acting was the kid who I thought may really be autistic in real life. Apparently not so he was excellent. You do care about the characters but I'll be taping over it soon.

    Good flick

Kelsey is great as a cop and is a Jim Belushi type. This nice nice combination of people and action about an autistic kid who is the witness of a crime possibly making him a target.

It should have a higher number and has something for everyone.
