    Beautiful, heartwarming film

I first saw this film on a Qantas international flight, and I was captured by its simplicity and beauty. The acting is low-key, but the true story and the scenery of Rottnest island stand out. The music score, by Australian Nerida Tyson-Chew, is probably the most beautiful music I have ever heard (& my CD collection is nearing 1500!). Unfortunately, the soundtrack was never released on CD.

    Great Movie

This was one of the best movies to come out in a long time. Its really makes you think about who are your true friends. What a movie. It had comedy and love and was sad but it still kept you watching it from beginning to end.
    Island-2

Sometimes profound meessages can be extremely subtle and simple.

This movie has become one of my very favorite movies. It is a love story, a story of friendship and one of transcendance over death. One can, if they are open to it, actually feel bliss at the end of this movie. It is also a very romantic movie. The fact that the plot is so simple does not mean it is empty of meaning. Quite the contrary! Its simplicity points beyond the movie to our inner self. I have shown this film to three good friends and they have all love it. The beauty of the island, and the calm beauty of the lead character (really to the credit of the leading lady) are both inspiring and mesmerizing. I wish I could buy a commercial version of this film!

    A Beautiful Film

This is a beautiful love story beautifully photographed. I have never seen such glorious scenery and such perfect music as the underscoring. This is the kind of movie you can put on the TV and have in the background anytime, day or night.

    Wonderful film

Enjoyed the film very much, especially its locales.

While the movie does deal with life's one unmistakable experience-death, it makes ardent strides to respect this life and the wonderful paradise we call the Planet Earth.

It really is a sort of "Buddy" film, only there are six buddies in the film, three men and three women. This of course creates a sort of sexual energy between three of the six, but they all truly love each other very much.

I wish we could have to deal with more great movies like this that leave one walking away very inspired.
