Jones does an excellent job in this black comedy, it really is a shame we haven't heard more of her. Even Baldwin fits in his role! The soundtrack is spicy and quite excellent. Braddock has extended this from a short film, and unfortunately it shows in some places. A few scenes feel, well, boring, and dialogue isn't as sharp as it could be.
Tarantino is often linked to this film, although he was only the producer and wrote a very little piece of script. However, there are connections to his movies in Curdled and they are fun to catch.
My score: 3/5

- Quotes
Gabriela: Do they talk?
Paul Guell: What?
Gabriela: The heads.
Paul Guell: What do you mean?
Gabriela: When you cut them...
Paul Guell: No. It's the face. It's in their eyes.
Gabriela: Yes, but after that. Sometimes the head says some words?
Paul Guell: The head - doesn't - no. No.
Gabriela: They're supposed to talk...
Paul Guell: They don't, o...
[gaining composure]
Paul Guell: They don't. I know, okay? They don't.
Gabriela: I think they talk. They could tell you something.
- Crazy creditsSPOILER At the very end of the credits, after the copyright notice, there is a scene showing Gabriela driving a car, with Eduardo, playing the tape she recorded with Paul's voice saying her name after his death.
- Alternate versionsOriginally, the film ended with a slow motion shot of geese flying south as the main character did a voice over but director Reb Braddock decided to save that for his next film, "When fun goes south with the geese."
