The script and the idea of this movie are really great but the directing of Sean Dash is boring. The light and the cut is also not the best and the whole movie needs a little more tempo. But that's all forgiven and forgotten when Joe Estevez appears. He plays the cool killer Grey, who is hired to kill Myra, the heroine of this movie. His appearances are worth to watch the whole show. After he is doublecrossed a few times he changes the fronts and helps Myra. Teri Thompson, beautiful and with long and neverending sexy legs, plays Myra and she is another reason to watch this movie.
this horrible piece of celluloid flotsam should have never been released,as it is unfit for anyone.nothing of this film is watchable.the plot is beyond inane, the stunts are trite and predictable, the acting:nevermind, there is no acting.ive seen better acting in kindergarten christmas pageants.the best thing about it is the directors total disregard for rational process.the mob is portrayed as a group of "keystone"crooks who are not only complete idiots, but are absolutely the worst marksmen on the planet.the actors perform actions without any motivation at all(except for the fact that it was "in the script").the only character that is halfway interesting is joe estevez, playing the protagonist/antihero/christfigure.even the costumer was an absolute zero.the main character starts out in this pirate shirt w/hotpants business suit which looks like something you would wear to an all you can eat lobsterfest.my advice about this movie:stay the hell away.save your sanity, save your money, save your soul.
A female Mafia courier attempts to retire but is double-crossed by her boyfriend and she ends up having to dodge a hitman. The boyfriend gets his second girlfriend involved by stashing his first girlfriend's money in her apartment. This is a fast moving and fun movie in the best and trashiest Saturday afternoon matinee way. While Quentin Taratino makes homages to sixties pop culture, this film embraces and lives it. Tonya Harding plays the second girlfriend Gina with freshness, zest, and sex appeal. Tonya Harding steals every scene.
The plot is totally predictable, for example what do mafia bosses have swimming pools for if not to catch flying corpses during a shootout? Is America really full of abandoned warehouses where criminals can run riot with firearms? By the way where are the cops in this film, were they on strike, or did they wisely decide to keep a low profile and let the mafiosi get on with blasting each other to bits? The baddies were just too thick to be credible! But this does provide some of the few laughs in this film. The quality of the acting is hardly worth commenting on and Tonya Harding should have stuck to ice skating.
If you only see one made-for-VHS action movie featuring Tonya Harding, Martin Sheen's brother and the single greatest use of a puffy shirt of all time - this year, make it this film. Whatever it's called.
