The college boy Andy (Corey Feldman) leaves Europe and joins the university where his girlfriend Rebecca (Diane Nadeau) is studying in the medical school. He surprisingly meets her in the campus and asks to stay with her, but her fraternity does not allow the presence of boyfriends. He joins the fraternity led by his fellow mate Marsh (Joel J. Edwards) that introduces Andy to the other five dwellers. Soon Andy is drugged and tattooed by his mates. Out of the blue, he meets a stranger that tells him to leave the place; otherwise Andy will die, since Marsh deals with the occult. But Andy in principle does not believe. But the old man gives something to Andy put in Marsh's drink to prove that he is controlling living dead.
"Voodoo" is a flawed film that entertains. It is funny to see the "hero" with 1.65 m height only since usually the lead role has taller actors. The plot has many holes but if the viewer shutdown his brain, he will enjoy this movie. My vote is six.

Anyone expecting to see a horror film of merit, would be better served by not seeing this film. From a very poor beginning, the viewer might be expected to think that this film could only improve. But, unfortunately due to bad script, bad acting and little suspense, this was not to be. It was hard to tell which were the actors and which were the zombies ! I did not expect much, I must admit, when choosing to see this "film" but I was extremely disappointed when it did not even reach 5% of my expectations. To make matters worse, the ending was incomprehensible - I hope that this does not mean that the producers were thinking of a sequel ! My Rating : 0.05 out of 10 ( this rating only achieved, due to the eye catching colour on the film poster - well something had to make me go and see it initially ) Fozzie -5
This is a perfect example of why many people say the 90's sucked when it comes to horror-movies. A boring voodoo-on-campus tale of terror starring the once so promising Corey Feldman (STAND BY ME, THE LOST BOYS, etc). There might be just enough stuff happening to keep you from falling asleep and it doesn't look too cheap, but this still is horror aimed at an audience that were in their very early teens during the 90's. I might have been part of that audience, but still I got as good as nothing out of it when watching it now. And nowadays, teens are used to a lot more and better already, and I can't imagine any of them knowing or caring about who Corey Feldman was. Or, "is", actually, as the dude's still making films. But the only thing still linking him to his days of glory, is the LOST BOYS 2: THE TRIBE sequel that got made recently. And I imagine even that one isn't going to encourage anyone to seek out VOODOO. Just another movie that got lost in 90's horror for obvious reasons.
Not that its gold or anything, but I found it pretty hard to hate this movie. Any movie with David Lynch favorite Jack Nance in it and I will have this problem. But enough about that, let's get to the review. Feldman, an actor who has made a lot of stupid movies and a few good ones, plays a college student recruited by a frat only to find out it is a vodoo cult. The movie pretty much goes nowhere after that, but doesn't do that bad of a job. A few good scenes (including a shotgun massacre scene that is the best) and Feldman doesn't do that bad of an acting turn this time. However, the character he plays is never really fully developed and it shows in some parts. The relationship between Feldman and his girlfriend is never fully displayed. There was even a few parts in the movie where I forgot all about her. Altogether, worth a late night on cable or a cheap rental but not something I would like to own.
Corey Feldman stars as a college student transfaring schools to be with his girlfriend. Upon arrival he gets a lukewarm response from her and has nowhere to go. Desperate for a place to stay, he joins a fraternity with a bad rep, but this is no ordinary frat house. All of its members are zombies who pratice voodoo and kill anybody that gets in their way. Unexceptional, but entertaining film has an appealing cast, some clever moments, and is fairly suspenseful from start to finish. Better then you would expect. Rated R; Violence and Nudity.

- GoofsWhen Erik and Andy compare their new tattoos, they are clearly temporary stick-on types. A real tattoo, imprinted only the night before, would be raw, red, inflamed and probably bleeding.
