I like this movie because it stars Jonnah Kerns. When I was watching "See Jane Run", I was astonished at how brilliantly Jonnah Kerns acted in this movie. She is so good that it is too hard to explain. If you also like Jonnah Kerns, she plays Maggie Seaver/Malone in "Growing Pains" which is another great show. It is very funny.
This film starts off with Joanna Kerns,(Jane Ravenson) wandering around in a grocery store and just plain looking with a blank stare at everyone in the store, she really looks like a very lost soul. As the story progresses, Jane Ravenson realizes that she has lost her memory and does not know where to go or what to do in this horrible situation. Jane finds her clothing filled with blood and lots of money in her top coat and only night wear under neither. Jane eventually finds she is married to a very rich and successful doctor named John Shea, (Dr. Michael Ravenson) who loves her very much and they also have a sweet young girl. This story will surprise you with its drama and final ending. This is a very entertaining film and excellent acting by Joanna Kerns. Enjoy.
Standard Lifetime anti-man movie with standard amnesia-victim plot. The man of course is portrayed as a diabolically evil mastermind who the women must unite against to defeat. I suppose this is meant to be inspiring to women, but it just doesn't make for a realistic film. The amnesia angle is supposed to make you expect plot twists and turns, but everything that happens is predictable. Lots of eye-rolling. All of the actors & actresses are good, but this vehicle wastes their skills. This isn't a *bad* movie, but I certainly wouldn't call it *good* either. I watched it at 3am and all I can say is that it was better than watching infomercials.
Oh the humanity! What a lousy flick. Even by TV movie standards, it's awful. Predictable and corny. Joanna Kerns deserves better. Did she really need the money this much? But this flick is still fun to laugh at! Catch this howler on Lifetime if you can.
I thought I had this movie figured out pretty quickly boy was I wrong. This is a great made for tv movie. I haven't read the book and most movies whether it's TV or theaters don't do the book justice I have a feeling this movie is as good or maybe better then the book. Johanna Kerns is fabulous, she can do comedy and drama with equal parts aplomb and realism. The farther into the movie you get,the more jaw dropping it gets. Jon Shea is also great as the supposed caring, loving, supportive husband, another shocking realization, they just keep coming until the end. A five star movie,a must watch, surprise, surprise.
