One of the best movie i saw

From childhood it is one of the best movie I hv ever seen. The concept of the movie is very unique and tabbu sanjay both play their roles Best way.

I watched the movie 3 to 4 times.saw many movies on punarjanam but this is very unique.

Very few movies available in bollywood on this concept.

Highly spiritual movie. The was things shown with combination of British ruling really mind blowing movie.

Concept of utma also shown in the movie. One has to beleive in punarjanam to understand the movie Best way..

On Dd 1 2 when we don't hv cable or internet this movie released.still remind me those days.

Intense romance

Watch the movie if you were a lover at some point of your teenage. It's an intense love story based on reincarnation. Introduction scene of tabu is very beautiful. Beauty of tabu in the movie personifies the Indian diva. Second half of the movie is little bit lengthy. Music was a big hit at that time. Male play back singer's voice is so suited to Sanjay Kapoor that many a times you would feel that Sanjay Kapoor himself is singing the songs. Movie shows you punar janam, atma, adivasi etc which may not go good with current generation. Overall the movie is very good and watchable.

Very good movie based on reincarnation

Prem is a nostalgic movie for me bcoz i was growing up when i saw this film. Its a wonderful film based on reincarnation. The scene where Sanjay Varma remembers his past life are well captured by the director. There is an excellent scene where Sanjay gets a glimpse of Tabu when she comes out of the river and starts moving a rope. Tabu instantly notices it and she is very shy and the 2 instantly feel love for watch other. The whole scene is so beautifully captured. The village life is shown nice. However the movie drags post 2nd half and often goes in flashbacks. Music is good....background music is also nice watch this film only and only for Tabu....she looks very beautiful and has done an incredible job for her first movie

Utter flop !!!

Outdated concept for the day and age. Sanjay Kapoor was stiff as a cardboard. Except for 2 songs the rest of it were pedestrian. Satish Kaushik is a great comedian but as a director is terrible as seen in the debacle " Roop ki rani choron ka raja" and this flop feature. Hope we don't have to endure any more of his disasters. Advise -skip this one.
