Will Smith is making a comeback — not only to film, but to music. On Friday, March 14, the Oscar winner revealed the cover art and release date to his new album, Based on a True Story. Though Smith began his career as a rapper under the alias, “The Fresh Prince,” he hasn’t put out an album since 2005’s Lost and Found, which featured the hit single, “Switch.” With Based on a True story marking his first album in 20 years, Smith hasn’t lost a beat, and he’s been keeping his ear to the streets.

Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) has been one of the sneaky MVPs of Chicago Pd season 12. The character may not evoke the instant intrigue that a Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) or even a Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) does, but he has been front and center in some of the season's biggest stories.
He proved his capableness and coolness under pressure during the One Chicago crossover, and advised Kevin Atwater (Laroyce Hawkins) through some pretty murky waters on the recent episode "Street Jesus." Well, Ruzek is center stage once again in the episode "Marie," which will bring back two major players in his life.
What happened to Zoe on Chicago Pd?
The first is Zoe (Annabelle Toomey), a little girl that Ruzek assisted in the eponymous season 12 episode. Ruzek is obviously a father himself, and his paternal instinct really kicked when it came time to aid Zoe. That said, the arc...

The Price Is Right has rewarded many players with great prizes on its daytime and primetime shows.
The game show gives out fabulous trips, new cars, and significant cash prizes to contestants who can skillfully win pricing games.
One of those games is Now or Then, in which contestants must successfully identify whether each grocery item on the gameboard has a display price from today or a previous year.
In a recently aired episode, Drew Carey guided a contestant through the game, explaining that the objective was to get three pie wedges on the board lit up next to one another.
If the contestant could identify whether the various item prices were “now” or “then,” she would win a trip to Ireland.
Items for this particular game included some chocolate drink mix, Lifesavers gummies, a four-count pack of pitted olives, a bottle of instant bouillon cubes, a two-count box of puff pastry sheets,...

There have been countless theories and speculation over Hollow Knight: Silksong's inevitable release, but the latest one making the rounds might hold some semblance of truth. Being the highly anticipated sequel to the critically acclaimed Hollow Knight, the upcoming Silksong has some pretty big shoes to fill, especially after such a long wait. While Silksong was announced nearly six years ago at this point, the wait for fans might not be much longer if this latest theory turns out to be true once more.
Even if the conversation around Silksong's release is starting to get somewhat repetitive, there's been enough evidence in the past that should have called for an official release date by now. The most credible source of information was Xbox claiming that Silksong would be released by June 12th, 2023 at the latest based on Game Pass launch deal. Will Smith took to social today and made everyone think he’s starring in the next Matrix movie in development at Warner Bros.
“In 1997, the Wachowskis offered Will Smith the role of Neo in The Matrix. Smith turned it down. He chose Wild Wild West, believing it was a better fit for him at the time. But the question remains: What would The Matrix have been like with Will Smith as Neo?”
“Wake up Will…”
“The Matrix has you…”
But sources say Smith is not attached to the new Matrix movie. The whole tease is connected to a new music project that Smith has underway. The last album he released was back in 2005, “Lost and Found” which featured the hit single, “Switch” which peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Smith’s third and last Hot 100 top 10. Last June, Smith dropped his first single in close to two decades,...

Having worked on several projects together throughout their illustrious run in showbiz, Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman have nothing but admiration for each other, which also translated into their performances together. While Aniston has had the opportunity to work with several great and likable figures in the last three decades, one of them being Adam Sandler, her bond with Bateman has been off the charts.

Chicago Pd has lost some major players over the last few seasons. It hasn't been easy for the writers, the fans, or the remaining cast members. That said, the show is still going strong. The new characters that have come in have done a great job, and the veterans continue to compel with their layered and lived-in performances.
We had Chicago Pd bringing up the rear in terms of which One Chicago winter premiere we were most eager to watch, but that doesn't mean there haven't been exciting developments throughout the first half of season 12. In fact, we've compiled a list of them below.

In Destiny 2, the Dawning is back to spread festive cheer and end 2024, and there are some delicious rewards to be had. Using ingredients gathered from different activities, Guardians can bake cookies in Eva Levante’s special oven and deliver them to their favorite NPCs for loot, which includes a recently created Linear Fusion Rifle.

For one Gift in Return and 25 Dawning Spirit per copy, Eva can be targeted by Mistral Lift and Dawning weapons that were added in prior years. From personal experience, the former is a rare reward for delivering cookies, so that’s a bit of a steep ask. However, it takes a lot when you are talking about the Mistral Lift Lfr.

She's one of the senior members of the Iu, and yet, there's still a lot for her to learn when it comes to working more closely with her boss, Hank Voight (Jason Beghe). This is something the actress who plays Burgess discussed during a recent interview with TV Insider.

Chicago Pd put several careers at risk during its fall finale. Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) was reluctant to come clean about his romance with a former informant, and was promptly scolded by the rest of his Iu peers.
Rightfully so, even if the likes of Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) have done far worse during their time with a badge. Torres' actions did not strictly impact himself, though. His attempts to cover up his mistakes put rookie officer Kiana Cook (Toya Turner) at risk, but we're here to discuss another person in the Iu inner circle: Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati).

Although Eiichiro Oda is considered one of the biggest manga creators in the world, he has been too modest about his fame and the love that he received from fans. The manga artist has mostly kept himself away from the limelight and believes that all of the recognition and love should go to One Piece and the Straw Hat Pirates, his biggest achievement.

Chicago P.D. shows no signs of slowing down despite being in its 12th season. Showrunner Gwen Sigan recently revealed that the series plans to throw another serial killer storyline into the mix.
Sigan made the promise when TV Line asked if Season 12 would feature a new villain or two across multiple episodes. "There are a couple, yes," she said. "I can tell you that one sort of big bad we sort of introduce a little bit in Episode 6 and then Episode 7 you get to know more. And then we've got another, I would say one of the darkest characters we've done is introduced in Episode 10, which will also be for a few episodes of the season as well. So, yeah, we've got some really twisted big bads coming up."

Fellow fans, we finally have liftoff!
Pachinko Season 2 Episode 3 starts a new chapter for the characters as they leave war-torn Osaka behind for a countryside idyll.
Well, as idyllic as being wartime evacuees in a kitchenless barn can be.
(Apple TV+)
Their narrow escape from the Osaka air raid, as witnessed by Noa from the rear window of Koh Hansu’s car, was a lurid panorama of smoky skies and muffled bomb blasts that formed a fiery line on the horizon.
It would have been a powerful last shot for Pachinko Season 1.
However, it still serves its purpose here as a definitive visual break between Sunja’s family’s precarious existence in the city and their new life of relative comfort and safety in the country.
It’s a new life that’s entirely dependent on Koh Hansu, though.

Depictions of cancer on television have not always been the most accurate portrayals in the past.
Luckily, the tides have turned due to writers using experts as reference points to ensure characters diagnosed with cancer have genuine storylines with correct medical details in the fictional cancer narrative.
Not only is it dangerous to spread false narratives, but disseminating valuable information and raising awareness is vital.
(HBO/Netflix Screenshot)
Not all specialists agree that TV portrayals of cancer are as accurate as they need to be in terms of actually living with it instead of using it as a tragic plot.
However, seeing characters diagnosed with cancer who aren’t solely defined by it can be good.
That was almost nonexistent a couple of decades ago, and we want to share those stories of strength!

Nintendo Switch 2 could have some exciting remasters and remakes for franchises like Fire Emblem and Zelda. Some major new entries are expected for Pokmon, Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and more. Switch 2 leaks should be treated as pure speculation for now, but they do offer some interesting hints.
It should only be a matter of months now until the Nintendo Switch's successor is officially revealed, but in the meantime, there's still no concrete information about what games will be coming to the platform. For the moment, Nintendo is focusing on the final push of major releases for the Switch, momentum that should easily carry the company into the holiday season.
Despite the lack of announcements, however, there are still a lot of leaks about Switch 2 titles from reasonably reputable sources. Although any speculation has to be taken with a grain of salt, it's definitely possible to get a general idea of...

Stöner, featuring ex-Kyuss members Brant Bjork and Nick Oliveri, have announced a new live album, Hittin’ the Bitchin’ Switch.
Ahead of the October 11th release date, Bjork and Oliveri served up a cover of their former band’s staple song “Green Machine,” which closes the tracklist on the forthcoming LP.
“Green Machine” was a highlight track on Kyuss’ vaunted 1992 LP Blues for the Red Sun, the album that helped launch the careers of Bjork, Oliveri, and guitarist and eventual Queens of the Stone Age mastermind Josh Homme. Here, Bjork and Oliveri revisit the classic song alongside Stöner drummer Ryan Güt, beefing up the low end on this live take.
Hittin’ the Bitchin’ Switch was recorded live at Altroquando in Treviso, Italy, by Matteo Pillon and engineered, mixed, and mastered by Tommaso Mantelli and Max Ear at Lesder Studio. The LP is 15 tracks in length and also features an additional Kyuss...

There are limited options for Jo to get home, which will lead to a thrilling Constellation finale. Jo's only chance to return home is to find the Cal, a vital device in the Apple TV+ fictional universe. Bud and Henry's switch affects Jo's fate as she struggles to find support in proving the other reality exists.
Warning: Spoilers ahead for Constellation episode 7.Constellation episode 7, "Through the Looking Glass," was very revealing for both Jo and the audience, but it also became very clear that the options for Noomi Rapace's character to get home are incredibly limited. Although Jo took great strides to understand her situation, things just went from bad to worse as she tried to find out how she could possibly return to her native reality. Just as the story started to imply that she might have help from another member of the Constellation cast, that potential assistance was also ripped away.

On Thursday, the London-based musician announced that he’ll release his LP Radiosoul, which includes a song featuring Nile Rodgers, on June 7. He also dropped the video for the album’s title track, inspired by the “profound impact of social media.”
With Radiosoul, Templeman hopes folks learn to “just enjoy the smaller things a bit more” when they’re listening to the album and “come off your phone for a bit and have a breather!

A newly released rough mix of “Photograph” from Def Leppard’s archives shows a different side to the Number One rock chart hit. Where the version that came out on Pyromania and dominated rock radio in 1983 finds the band singing “Photograph” and Joe Elliott responding, “I don’t want your … / I don’t need your …” the rough mix has less vocals and more space. It sounds almost like a new wave song with more prominent (and funkier) bass, less reverb, and a lot more jangly guitar in the chorus. The cowbell remains the same.

Def Leppard have announced a 40th anniversary expanded reissue of their seminal 1983 album Pyromania, arriving April 26th.
The legendary UK band is pulling all the stops for the reissue campaign, digging into the archives for previously unreleased demos, outtakes, rough mixes, and live recordings.
The 4-cd/Blu-Ray and 2-lp editions will include the original remastered album as well as these archival recordings, including a rare rough mix of “Photograph” with an unfinished vocal track and a previously “long lost” demo of “No You Can’t Do That” — an outtake and the “11th track” from the Pyromania sessions.
“Rediscovering dusty old cassettes which were brilliantly restored by [executive producer] Ronan [McHugh] and finding the long lost unfinished ’11th track’ was a journey only few of us are lucky enough to take,” remarked singer Joe Elliot in a press release. “What a trip!”

The Tyler Perry cinematic universe is expanding. The latest from the prolific producer, writer, and director is Mea Culpa, a new steamy thriller starring Kelly Rowland (The Curse of Bridge Hollow), who is also a producer on the film.
Also starring Trevante Rhodes, Sean Sagar (The Gentlemen), Nick Sagar (The Princess Switch), and RonReaco Lee (Nappily Ever After), the film centers around a criminal defense attorney who takes on the case of a seductive artist accused of murdering his girlfriend. But when burning desire takes hold, things get hot… and dangerous. “This idea came to me because I love all of those older thrillers from the ’80s and ’90s,” Perry tells Tudum. “It was fun to explore the best and worst of humanity through the genre of an exotic thriller.”

Lucy Liu doesn't believe there's a place for a legacy sequel to Charlie's Angels due to changing times and attitudes. McG, the director of the original Charlie's Angels films, is open to the possibility of a third movie and would discuss it with the original cast. Drew Barrymore has expressed her willingness to return for another Charlie's Angels film "in a heartbeat" and maintains a close friendship with her former co-stars.
The question of whether the cast of 2000's Charlie's Angels could have one more adventure in them has been getting a lot of discussion recently. While Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and director McG have all expressed some interest in collaborating again - no matter how unlikely that outcome may actually be - it seems that Lucy Liu has a very different view on the chances of ever bringing Charlie's Angels back to the big screen.

Who would have thought that one of the more enduring family movies in the last 20 years would come from Brett Ratner and star Nicolas Cage? Indeed, The Family Man was only a modest success when it came out over the holiday season in 2000, but it has since inspired rip-offs and remakes and is a beloved classic for many of us.
In it, Nicolas Cage plays a high-flying businessman named Jack Campbell, who doesn’t appreciate the little things in life, such as Christmas. It’s lonely at the top, but he consoles himself with his Ferrari, penthouse apartment in New York, and hook-ups with women such as supermodel Amber Valletta, who has a small role as his bedmate early in the film. Yet, being alone on Christmas Eve, he does a good deed when he intervenes in a convenience store standoff by showing empathy towards a wired, gun-toting customer, played by Don Cheadle,...

Social media users recently marveled that last month marked 20 years since three modern Christmas favorites — New Line’s Elf, Universal’s Love Actually and Miramax’s Bad Santa — all hit theaters within weeks of each other. Two decades later, you don’t need to feel like a cotton-headed ninny-muggins if you’re among those wondering why studios don’t release holiday theatrical offerings in the way they once did.
Although most Christmas films don’t tend to follow the path of, say, 1990’s Home Alone, which topped the domestic box office for a whopping 12 straight weeks, they had typically been a staple of the release calendar, with a handful of titles hitting theaters annually, as recently as the late 2010s. That list includes such 2016 theatrical offerings as Almost Christmas, Bad Santa 2, Office Christmas Party and Why Him?, followed by 2017’s Daddy’s Home 2, A Bad Moms Christmas and animated...

There was no changing of the guard for Netflix’s Top 10 this week.
After making the streamer’s biggest animated film debut ever, Adam Sandler’s Leo stayed atop the English-language film list from November 27 to December 3 with another 23.6M views. That made it the most-viewed title on the service for the second consecutive week.
Same thing goes for the TV side of things, where Squid Game: The Challenge remained the top series of the week despite the audience dropping dramatically. The reality competition series mustered 11.4M views, also boosting Squid Game to No. 7 on the Non-English TV list with 1.5M views.
Elsewhere in film, Family Switch debuted at No. 2 with 22.2M views, while holiday films including Best.Christmas.Ever! and Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch continued to dominate the remainder of the list. David Fincher’s The Killer spent its fourth week on the list at No. 7 with 3.6M views,...

The whole purpose of the existence of movies like Family Switch is to entertain the audience for an hour or two, nothing more, nothing less. Family Switch on Netflix is a Christmas movie, but it brings the age-old concept of body swapping into the fold. The latter part is always exciting, if things are pulled off right. Family Switch takes off a little shaky, but the film interestingly gets better with each passing minute. The end product is a surprisingly well-made, genuinely fun Christmas movie with a great emotional payoff. There isn’t much confusion in the rather simple narrative, except for the character of Angelica. Let us take a closer look.
Spoilers Ahead
Plot Synopsis: What Happens In The Movie?
Imagine Andy Bernard in his post-Dunder Mifflin days, but with a family. Ed Helms plays Bill Walker, who is a high school music teacher. The Walker family is your staple dysfunctional family.

Family Switch is a holiday comedy that features a body-swapping plot, which has been seen in other films like 13 Going on 30 and Freaky Friday. The film stars Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, Emma Myers, and Brady Noon, who deliver plenty of charm in their roles. The movie is filled with comedic antics, action scenes, and physical comedy, leading up to a heartwarming end that audiences of all ages can enjoy despite the predictability.
Family Switch feels like one of those holiday gifts you’d pluck from a filled stocking, hoping to get your hands on a surprisingly cool present. Instead, you get an acceptable gift card or something of that ilk. You’re grateful, but boy, you find yourself craving something more. That immediately comes to mind when, 20 minutes into the new Netflix body-swapping comedy, four family members wake up one morning in different skin. Mom and daughter have swapped bodies,...

The man who brought Charlie’s Angels to the big screen and delivered non-stop fun in the TV show Chuck takes a big swing at the body swap genre in Family Switch. Intrepid director McG fuels the new Netflix comedy, which draws off films like 13 Going On 30, Freaky, Change-Up, and others of its offbeat ilk. The result is a holiday family-friendly film that is inspiring, heartwarming, and fun.
Family Switch revolves around the very busy Walker family, a mod quad comprised of parents Jess and Bill, and children Cc and Wyatt, brought to life with vigor by Jennifer Garner (The Last Thing He Told Me), Ed Helms (The Hangover), Emma Myers (Wednesday), and Brady Noon (The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers), respectively. Par for the body-switch course, the Walker fellas and ladies collectively muse about what it would be like to swap places with the others — Jess to Cc; Bill to Wyatt.
