The first documentary about the legal saga between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni will premiere on Monday in the U.K., according to multiple media reports. “He Said, She Said” comes from ITN Productions.

The 90-minute cut of the doc will premiere on Channel 5 on Monday. As for the project’s U.S. premiere, a condensed 60-minute version of the project has been acquired by Investigation Discovery. That version is set to air on March 31 on ID and will be available to stream on both Max and Discovery+.

Deadline broke the news about the movie last month. It’s based on Twohey and Kantor’s bestseller She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement.

Everyone in Hollywood remembers where they were when the duo’s first story ran on October 5, 2017. Kantor and Twohey revealed an array of alleged sexual harassment and assaults against women by the then-Weinstein Company co-chairman and indie film mogul Weinstein, misdeeds that dated back decades.

“She Said,” a dramatic retelling of the sexual harassment investigation that took down Harvey Weinstein and sparked the #MeToo movement, is coming to theaters next year.

The movie, from Universal Pictures, will be released on Nov. 18, 2022.

“She Said” will star Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan as New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, who together broke the story that shattered decades of silence around the subject of sexual assault in Hollywood and sparked a cultural reckoning. Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures has hired Adam Paulsen, formerly of Valparaiso Pictures, as its executive vice president and head of film and Jack Parker as a creative executive, the company announced Monday.

Both Paulsen and Parker will report to Cco Sue Naegle and COO Chris Corabi. They join a film team that also Jess Biddle, Annapurna’s director of development.

As part of Paulsen joining the company, Annapurna will also acquire most of Valparaiso Pictures’ film slate. Valparaiso’s founder David Carrico, a tech-entrepreneur turned producer, will remain attached to the projects as an executive producer. Valparaiso Pictures was founded in 2017 by Carrico as a production and finance company that empowers filmmakers to take creative risks.

Exclusive: Nearly four years after New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor broke the bombshell Harvey Weinstein sex scandal report, Hollywood is ready to tell the story of how these two reporters persevered to break this game-changing story. Universal Pictures is prepping She Said, a drama based on the New York Times bestseller She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement. Uni is in negotiations with Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan to star as Twohey and Kantor. The film is set to begin production this summer and will be directed by Unorthodox director Maria Schrader from a script by Oscar-winner Rebecca Lenkiewicz.

Everyone in Hollywood remembers where they were when the first story ran on October 5, 2017 when Kantor and Twohey revealed an array of alleged sexual harassment and assaults against women by The Weinstein Company co-chairman and indie film mogul Weinstein, misdeeds that dated back decades.

Earlier this week, Chvrches and Robert Smith released their collaborative single “How Not to Drown,” from the group’s upcoming album Screen Violence, and have now released a music video for the song directed by Scott Kiernan (who also helmed the band’s earlier “He Said She Said” clip).

Chvrches have released the music video for their latest single “He Said She Said,” directed by artist Scott Kiernan.

The clip takes place in a photography darkroom, with glowing red light and prints developing in tubs of acid. Lead singer Lauren Mayberry appears inside a giant revolving door as she fiercely recounts a manipulative relationship: “He said, ‘It’s all in your head, but keep an ear to the grapevine,’ and/’Get drunk, but don’t be a mess’/Keep thinkin’ over, over.”

The track features lead singer Lauren Mayberry recalling horrific statements made to her by men — “He said, ‘You need to be fed, but keep an eye on your waistline'” — over looming synthesizers. So long, 2020, 2021 is here! Now that we’ve entered the New Year, the various major streaming services are starting January with a bang as they all have hefty hauls arriving this weekend. The first day of the month always sees a load of newly licensed titles go up across the platforms and that’s especially the case in January, as Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Hulu and Prime Video have tons of great new movies and TV shows debuting this weekend.

For starters, there’s something for all tastes becoming available on Netflix on January 1st. We’ve got Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, animated comedy Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, both Sex in the City movies, Superbad, Bruce Lee classic Enter the Dragon, horror flick Gothika and not one but two films directed by Martin Scorsese, Goodfellas and The Departed, featuring DiCaprio again.

Ring in the new year with a heap of new titles on HBO Max.

While production on “Euphoria” remains halted amid the Covid-19 pandemic, fans who have been clamoring for Season 2 can rest easy with the second of HBO’s two special episodes, the first of which released on Dec. 6. The second, titled “Fuck Anyone Who’s Not a Sea Blob,” will focus on Jules (Hunter Schafer) and premiere Jan. 24.

The fourth season of acclaimed HBO Max original dark comedy “Search Party” will debut Jan. 14. The series follows four self-absorbed post-grads who become entangled in a mystery when a former college acquaintance disappears. Season 4 picks up as Dory (Alia Shawkat) is held prisoner by her stalker Chip (Cole Escola), awaiting her friends Portia (Meredith Hagner), Elliott (John Early) and Drew (John Reynolds) to connect the dots and save her.

A new year is just around the corner and as folks start getting ready to say goodbye to the nightmare that was 2020, it’s time to look ahead at all the great movies and TV shows coming down the pipeline to keep us entertained over the next 12 months.

Hopes are high that things will begin to return to normal again and productions will be able to run smoother, meaning less delays and setbacks. And with 2021 absolutely packed with new releases right now, there’s more than enough to get excited about no matter where your interests lie.

But aside from just what’s coming to theaters and airing on television, we’ve also got all the streaming services still offering up a bevy of fresh content every month and January is no different. Indeed, the first few weeks of the new year will see Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Hulu...

The first of the month is typically when the variety of streaming services on offer bolster their respective libraries with a mixture of original and pre-existing content, freshening things up for subscribers in the process. January 1st also happens to be the first day of 2021, though, so people might be expecting a little more than just a handful of new additions, and HBO Max are stepping up to the plate in a big way.

Of course, Wonder Woman 1984 is set to entice millions to sign up for Warner Bros.’ platform, especially when the entire slate of theatrical releases are also heading to the streaming site on the same day that they hit the big screen. And keen to capitalize on the inevitable influx of new customers, HBO Max is adding a massive amount of film and television titles on January 1st, with the onslaught set to continue over the next 30 days.

Rowena Chiu claims Harvey Weinstein attempted to rape her on a business trip in 1998. She had only met Weinstein two times and had begun working as a new assistant at Miramax, just one month prior to the Venice Film Festival when the alleged incident occurred. During a late-night meeting to discuss film productions and scripts, Chiu says she declined Weinstein’s request for massages, before the producer pushed her up against the bed and took off her tights. Chiu managed to escape the room, but the lasting effects of the incident never went away.

More than 20 years later, Weinstein — who is serving a 23-year sentence in New York state prison after being convicted on two charges of rape in the third degree and a criminal sex act — still denies the attack ever happened.
