great classic eddie d video

This one is a classic. It started a whole new genre in video art and short film; the rhythmically edited video or "video music" as it is sometimes called. Allthouh not the first one to do this, eddie d is definitely the master of the genre and he is still setting the standard. This video has everyday household objects moving about, falling, clashing and making a lot of noise. The rhytms are crude compared to eddie d's todays work but remember this was the time before digital video, its all edited reel to reel. There is a lot of humor in the choice of objects and the sounds they make. If you get a chance to see this work, do it. you won't regret it. and its only six minutes long, so....

go see this one if you get a chance. There is no story in this film, just image and sound. This is the classic rhythmical art film. ordinary household items are used as percussion instruments. They are filmed in close-up en edited in short sequences that make the rhythm. It is sometimes very funny and makes you think about and consider the images and sound we see (and hear) around us everyday. Makes us notice them again. This is a rare and classic eddie d video art work, not available everywhere, but is shown in museums, art academies and theaters occasionally. If you get a chance to see this one in your local art cinema center, go and see it.
