    It's a Cute and Funny Easy-going watch

It's a sweet reminder of this style movie from years back. It's family friendly, and has plenty of silly moments. It's good for a fun and amusing watch, where you just want to relax, and not have to pay close attention.

Yes, it has a pretty standard plot for its time period and genre. It has villians that are pretty tame. It has people trying make ends meet. But it also has creative ways of progressing the story which is a cute overall scenario.

I had never seen this when I was a kid, but think I would have really liked it back then. It made me happy watching it now. Sometimes, a nice simple family friendly comedy movie from the past where everything works out is comforting. And when considering that basic story lines are still around, it's nice when they come together in an enjoyable way.

It doesn't have the awesome special effects that the current generation is spoiled with having. I think that's why the rating is lower than it deserves. Maybe the robot being so over the top unrealistic helped lower the rating too, but robots like that feature in a lot of movies of that time period, so I'm not sure.

    Scared me as a child.

This is a wonderful heartfelt movie. All the children as well as Alan Thick gave super performances. Definitely something you could watch with the whole family. If you liked the Not Quite Human series I'd recommend this.
