    Gross-out comedy at its finest.

"Ren & Stimpy" is by far one of THE grossest television shows ever, but unlike most shows that try to be gross, this show is pretty damn hilarious. This great show lasted for only five seasons; however, Nickelodeon fired the show's creator, John K., thus seasons 3-5 pretty much sucked when compared to seasons 1 & 2. Despite Nickelodeon showing this series, it really wasn't for kids anyway, especially in this crappy PC environment that plagues today's television. My recommendation is to check out seasons 1 & 2 of this brilliant show. Fortunately, there will be a DVD set that contains seasons 1 & 2 that will be UNCUT, which means that the scenes butchered from Nickelodeon are now restored in all of its glory. I personally put "Ren & Stimpy" up against "Rocky & Bulwinkle", and "Looney Tunes" as one of the great classics. Although it only lasted two seasons,(I am overlooking season's 3-5, since they were done by a different company and were crappier) this classic show will live in our memories and on DVD October 12th.

    A Hilarious Show

Ren and Stimpy is one funny cartoon show. It is so funny to look back on re-runs and be so surprised that some of the stuff was on Nickelodeon, but it was so cool they could easily get away with all this stuff. But dont get me wrong, this is a very good show, but some of it is more directed at adults, which is good.

I really think that Comedy Central or Cartoon Network should pay attention and show re-runs of this modern cartoon classic.

    "Keep your stinkiness to yourself."

Johnny K. drop kicked animation into the next phase when he created this masterpiece.

Non-stop non sequitors were all over the place. I couldn't stop laughing. And the situations seemed to be an ongoing contest of how unrealistic can we be. The deadpan deliveries added to the fun.

Kirsch lost the rights to this at one point and the new owners RUINED it. It became an abuse/gross-fest. So make sure you see the Spumco versions only.

The DVD has it all un-cut now. And it's still funnier than anything on today. Seth MacFarlane had to have been a fan.

This and the great "Liquid Television" deserve to be kept alive.

One of the best cartoons to grace TV.

OH JOY!! Ren & Stimpy is indeed one of the greatest cartoons ever in the world. The show's humor was definitely the best, and the content of the episodes are classic. From selling rubber nipples to the great outdoors, "The Ren & Stimpy Show" is without a doubt one of the best cartoons to grace my TV set. If you have never seen this show make sure you do! For whenever you watch this show you will know this show is a true classic. Just watching the beginning theme song you know you are in for a show with goofy and somewhat gross humor that never wears out. I could watch an episode 10 times and still laugh at it because it's humor is timeless. You will not know true American Animation until you watch "The Ren & Stimpy Show".

It deserves a 20 out of 10 but for now I'll give it a 10 out of 10

    Fun and intense chase cartoon!

"Ren and Stimpy" would dominate the early 90's as it was a kids watch and popular cartoon. The show featured the most extreme adventures of a crazed cat and dog the gags and plot were often far out and very funny. The show was blunt and a little gross with things however many kids and parents may be turned off by the wild violence and crazy chases still it was a fun thrill ride to watch!

Ren: You! You and your fan mail, Mr. Fan Club. Everyone love you, don't they? Well, guess what the mailman brought for you today? *Nothing!* This letter's for me! You, they have forgotten! Now it is me they love. It is I who am most loved! It is I who shall rule! You see? This is the proof that you are finished!

      [Opens letter]

Ren: Listen! Listen to what it says. "Dear Ren: - That's me, that's me! - You are my favorite TV star." Are you getting this?

[Rubs the letter on Stimpy's face]

Ren: It's me they love! I am *king*! "When I grow up, I want to be just like you." How about that?

[Elbows Stimpy in the stomach; Stimpy doubles over with pain]
