    Top Notch Comedy

It seems poor Bobo Fett1138 doesn't understand what "Comedy" is about. This double feature is priceless. What's not to like abut this movie? You have two tragic events made fun of to the point of comedic insanity. Sure, Nancy K. was "America's Sweetheart" and got smacked in the knee. Then we found out what she was really like. Stomping off the ice when she didn't win gold and losing her soup sponsorship for acting that way. She deserved being laughed at in this movie. And Lorena "Bobbed-it". Another tragedy. Poor guy gets his...well, you know, snipped off. And get's it back! Nothing too bad about that in the end. Let's have fun with it! That's what this movie, and all comedy's are about: Having fun. We all, with the exception of one wet blanket, loved it! Highly recommended.

Julie Brown Always Makes Me Smile!

Once again Julie Brown makes me laugh until tears run down my face! Here she tackles Tonya Harding and Lorena Bobbit, two infamous women of the tabloids. Her deadpan comedy left me smiling from ear to ear; the musical number was hysterical; and Brown's performance deserves many awards. If you're a fan of Julie's performance in Earth Girls Are Easy, or her fantastic 1987 album, Trapped in the Body of A White Girl, check out this comedic gem. I've always loved Julie Brown and always will. Plus be sure to watch her Madonna spoof in Medusa: Dare to be Truthful from 1992. There's literally nothing she can't do! Long live the Queen of comedy: Julie Brown!

    Seriously now...

This movie is "Epic Movie", "Date Movie" and "Meet the Spartans" type of bad. It's just as lame with its humor, which means it's just totally not funny at all and instead is more annoying, in basically every way thinkable. Honestly this was one of the worst movies I've seen in my life and that says a lot.

I could barely watch this movie, since it was so embarrassingly badly made. I've nothing against a stupid comedy but that doesn't mean it can just get away with bad writing, bad directing, bad acting and bad basically everything else. the National Lampoon's movies never have been known for its comical subtlety or overall brilliance but this movie is bad even for their normal standards.

The movie is presented as a double feature, in which two different stories are told. Both feature the same actress as the main lead but are basically not connected in any way. The only thing that connects them, expect for the same main lead actress, is how incredibly bad they are. It's almost as if there was no script ready at the time of the shooting and the stories just never get off the ground, since they are just far from something interesting. They progress in a very childish way, as if it was made only for people with an incredibly low IQ score. How can you watch and honestly like a movie like this? The movie tries to be funny in basically every scene, which is overkill. And on top of that, the movie obviously isn't that funny. It's comedy is oh so predictable and again incredibly lame and childish. If you let a 6 year come up with a comedy, he or she would probably come up with a movie like this.

Seriously, I don't want to spend any more time now saying how bad, horrible and just almost completely unwatchable this movie is. I seriously can not understand how anyone could ever like and laugh out loud at this movie.

    These Two Shall Pass

Presented as a "double feature," this is a pair of comedies poking fun at two gross women who received much media attention at the time. In 1993, the previously unknown Lorena Bobbitt took a kitchen knife and cut off her husband John's penis, which she tossed in a field. Incredibly, the appendage was found and successfully reattached. In 1994, a chain-smoking figure skater named Tonya Harding made headlines when she hired a hit-man to break her competitor Nancy Kerrigan's legs. The wounded woman had to withdraw from a contest, enabling Ms. Harding to win...

Sub-titled "Tonya: The Battle of Wounded Knee" and "He Never Gave Me Orgasm: The Lenora Babbitt Story", these two stories flow together well, thanks to a sordid sisterhood. Julie Brown and the second half are a bit funnier, but there are some good supporting characterizations worth noting, in the first half. As the two trashy celebrity women, re-named "Lenora Babbitt" and "Tonya Hardly", Ms. Brown continues to prove her comic skills. However, the subjects and situations are topical and have little long-term worth. You had to be there - and you wish you were not.

Watch only if you wanna laugh!!!

If you wanna see one of the funniest slapstick/parody films ever made, then look no further. This movie is absolutely hilarious. If you're a fan of laughter and like such movies as Spaceballs, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Naked Gun Trilogy, etc. see and buy this movie. And send a letter to Paramount to bring it to a Special Edition DVD.
