I was surprised that I found myself watching this entire movie. I expected utter nonsense, which I did get sometimes, but it was entertaining nonetheless. Perfect for an easy afternoon movie.
Basically, it is a modern takeoff of the old Bonnie and Clyde movie. This time around it's teenagers, and Bonnie's Dad is Chief of Police. Cliché, yes. But the actors do a great job. You find yourself routing for these two to make it, and I won't say whether or not this time around the ending was changed. I will say this movie had a totally different feel than its predecessor.
All in all, worth a look. Don't expect an Oscar-winning film, and you won't be disappointed.

Scott Wolf and Maureen Flannigan star in this hilarious action packed adventure as Bonnie and Clyde. Set as a modern day story Bonnie(Flannigan) and Clyde(Wolf) are just you average teenage high school students. A film full of laughs and a sad ending "TEENAGE BONNIE AND KLEPTO CLYDE" is a great movie to watch over and over again. 9 out of 10
I watched the movie the other day, when I was really bored and zapped remote control without great interest what is going on on the screen. I was tired even of zapping and by chance I stopped on TBAKC, missing first 10-15 minutes. When I saw "Bonnie" (M. Flannigan), I thought, OK, let's see what will happen here. After first 10 minutes I asked myself should I vomit, kill myself or just change the TV channel, but unfortunately I opted to see it till the end, just to see how stupid some movies can be. A warning should be aired at the beginning of the movie for the persons affected by depression, stress or some other, even light form of psychological disturb. Everything in this movie is simply stupid. It seems some kind of low budget movie, but this is not enough to explain bad acting, actions without logics and brainless plot. The movie deserves 2 mark only thanks to Miss Flannigan's boobies and her than and now adorable smile. For all the rest..... just avoid it.
With a title like Teenage Bonnie and Klepto Clyde you wouldn't expect a great movie and while its not a great movie its a lot better than one would expect. Its a suprisingly exciting tale about two teens who decide to escape their boredom by committing crimes. The acting is good and the action keeps you interested. Definitely worth a look! 5 out of 10
Two bored high school students, Bonnie (Maureen Flannigan) and Clyde (Scott Wolf) are two teenagers out for excitement. A chance run in is all it takes for Clyde to be smitten with Bonnie. She initially wants nothing to do with Clyde. Bonnie thinks he's a dweeb! Clyde's relentless is his pursuit of Bonnie, to the point of following her and her boyfriend. When Bonnie gets caught stealing from a record store, Clyde gets involved with trying to get Bonnie out of trouble. This is the beginning of their bonding. Both discover that they aren't as different from each other as they originally thought.
Bonnie and Clyde start out small at first with a little shoplifting. As things progress, the couple get more daring and up the stakes each time. Before they know it Bonnie and Clyde are fugitives trying to outrun the law. The thrill keeps them going.
I wasn't quite sure want to expect of Teenage Bonnie and Klepto Clyde, but I found the movie to be pretty good.
