    Funny Hong Kong Crime Comedy.

This is a funny Hong Kong crime comedy about mismatched police detectives Yau (Anthony Chan) and Yue (Sandra Ng), who were assigned to work undercover as a live-in couple to track down a serial killer accused of murdering adulterers. In the meantime, Yau is coping with runaway girlfriend and Yue is losing her grip on her boyfriend.

It is a well-directed and well-paced movie with good humor, courtesy of the hilarious friction but great chemistry between Yau and Yue. It is entertaining seeing the two spar and, and the same time, you will find double the entertainment as the suspense in finding the killer creeps up on you as the movie goes on.

The cast did a job well done in their respectful roles; it includes cameo appearances by some Hong Kong veterans including Woo Fung, Tam Sin Hung, Kenneth Tsang, Alfred Cheung, Jamie Luk and Ha Ping.

It's a great Hong Kong comedy that combines humor (versus nonsensical nonsense), drama and suspense. Could have used a little more action, but an entertaining movie nonetheless.

    A So-So Slapstick/Romantic Comedy

This film is about two cops Yu and Ju, played by Anthony Chan and Sandra Ng, who are forced to co-habitate for a case even though they can't stand each other. They stay in a place next to a suspected killer who seemingly goes after men who two time women. Yu and Ju get on each other's nerves from the outset. Complicating matters for them is both of them lost their longtime loves, Ju to another woman and Yu's to travel, to sort out her feelings. Despite the mis-match of Ju and Yu you know eventually they will like each other. The movie is more about that then them trying to catch the killer. This film is okay, redeemed by Anthony Chan and especially Sandra Ng, who is at least good in everything. The premise of the film is fine, but the movie is rather silly. Don't take it seriously at all and you'll be fine. Nothing essential, check it out if you like HK slapstick/romantic comedy.
