The movie is at least the fourth work by director Mats Arehn, which includes a scene with a car failing or hard to start, after Mannen som blev miljonär (1980), Skulden (1982) and Dödspolare (1985). Here it's main character Peter's (Sven Wollter) Mazda 929 being hard to start twice in the beginning of the movie, the second time when he is trying to offer Helen a ride to the Skansen open-air museum and zoo.
