    Picture of a spoilt child.

Ten years ago, Julie, a little girl from a wealthy family, and Jean, the maid's son, were inseparable. Back after ten years of absence, Jean finds Julie, who is now engaged to Henri. They continue to have very strong feelings for each other.

This title taken from the Bible ("Burning Bush " ) has nothing to do with Mosis ; it may have two meanings in the movie: the shack on fire and the name of the seedy cafe where Julie is not the welcome .....

Perhaps because the owner feels that Julie does not belong here ; she's a spoilt girl, selfish ,and has yet to come to term with the end of her golden childhood : the death of her mother and the shack where she keeps her memories of yore reduced to cenders. It does not make her a woman for all that ;she plays with two boys like a cat with two mice and can be very cruel (the episode of the wounded bird),but one of them beats her at her own game .
