"Wendy" (Santha Press) is an attractive young woman who runs a small clothing shop during the day and performs as a lounge singer at a nightclub in the evenings. Despite her best efforts to move forward, her main shortcoming lies in her choice of men. Her current boyfriend, "Mack" (Hugo Race), is a petty criminal who consistently demonstrates that he cares only about himself, often verbally and physically abusing her when it benefits him. Furthermore, to illustrate his complete disregard for society, the police suspect that he has obtained a cassette tape implicating certain politicians in a bribery scheme and that he is using it to blackmail them for a significant sum of money. As a result, two detectives named "Milas" (John Flauss) and "Dinny" (Dominique Sweeney) have been assigned to secretly monitor his every move to acquire the cassette at all costs. However, it isn't until Wendy's younger sister, "JoJo" (Rebekah Elmaloglou), unexpectedly moves in with her that things become even more complicated for everyone involved. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will just say that, despite the intriguing plot, this film was significantly hindered by its slow pace and the rather wooden acting from everyone involved. To be sure, having an attractive actress like Santha Press in several scenes of a sexual nature certainly didn't hurt this film, but even so, her presence wasn't enough for me to rate this movie any higher than I have.
