Great show, Alda makes it perfect

This is a great addition to PBS' great schedule. Very interesting stories on science related matter, such as robots, space, high altitude sickness, brain waves, memory, dreams, and so on. You learn a lot of stuff from the show, and I always like that. Some shows might teach you and not be entertaining, but with Alan Alda, that's not possible. In this show, he's smart, witty, and very friendly. The topics discussed are most always exciting and relevant to what we deal with in our everyday lives, and the show's writing is very smart.

    This show is really interesting!

I have watched this show many times in class and loved it! I especially like the ones about the robots! They always are interesting and fun to watch. I always remember the things I learn in this show. Although I have never watched this at home, I recommend you watch this because it truly is a great show and Alan Alda is a great host.

    Wonderful!

As an eighth grade student I've never been interested in science. Then when I started watching MASH and a couple of Alan Alda movies I was "Hey, SAF ill just turn it on to see what it was like" I was watching it and I was getting really interested into the show and I figured out i didn't like science because i was learning from a book when Alan Alda goes out and actually does it! I probably learn more from him doing it then one chapter. Then he doesn't just do it one thing he does several! He really makes me feel interest and they're some funny moments caught in there. Like his hat flying off (which some one saved) and his boot being filled with cold swamp water from a drunken forest.
