    Entertaining for kids and adults

This movie is one of the best children's movies around. It's got an innocent sense of humor that kids will love, and the plot is interesting for both parents and children. Jay Underwood as the teenage robot Chip Carson steals the show, and Alan Thicke is good as his scientist father, Jonas Carson. This installment is the best of the Not Quite Human trilogy, in my opinion. Don't miss it!

    Great and Fun Family Entertainment

I grew up watching this film more times than I can count. The actors do an amazing job. The direction and writing is sharp. You can tell that they did everything they could with the budget they had. The practical effects are well done. This movie will make you laugh, cry, and leave you with a warm and fuzzy feeling by the end. "What is the missing piece that makes us human?" You'll leave this film with a solid answer to that question.

    funny, fast-paced family film

The sequel to this film is the 'Not Quite Human II'. In this film, Chip the android is off to university and he finds himself falling in love with Roberta, who happens to be another android female. Like in the first film, there is a kidnapping plot, and one of the only things that I remember about this film is Chip and Roberta running away to try to escape and running into even more problems. Like the first film, there are a lot of jokes and a lot of humour as well as some fast-paced action. I thought that it was a good story, but the original 'Not Quite Human' appealed to me more, probably because I was in High School myself when I saw both films.

    Clever Entertainment For Everyone

After seeing Not Quite Human I wondered about what adventures would lie ahead for Chip and his family my question was answered when Not Quite Human II came on to the screen. Most of the cast returned with some additions for an all new story, this movie was just as intelligent as the first and even funnier.

Since the events of the first film Chip (Underwood) is about to graduate from high school and wants to attend college once there he tries to socialize and understand the college life, one day he finds himself developing feelings for Roberta(Barbie) a young woman he saw during his first few days at school. It turns out that she too is an android, however the people who helped to create her want her back and now Chip will do anything it takes to protect the girl he has fallen in love with.

The scenes between Chip & Roberta were so sweet it was nice for him to meet someone who like him was learning to understand about humans and the world around them. One of my favourite scenes was when he was trying to save her before her power died out and professed his feelings . For fans of sci fi comedies I recommend this film to anyone who enjoys a good family oriented comedy.

Chip: Would it be appropriate to laugh? I've got a new one I'd like to try.

      Jonas: No. Maybe later, okay?

Becky: Yeah sure, Chip. Go ahead, let's hear your laugh.

      Chip: All right.

      [extremely loud, echoing]

      Chip: HAAA!

      [everyone in the restaurant stares]
