Stupid film, stupid plot , stupid acting from annoying actors with the most boring direction
And the biggest thanks is to the stupid director of this stupid film.
Long time ago the Glouster family of boys were burned really bad during the explosion of their house caused accidentally by some film crew. The year is 1988.An actors' seminar at a remote house in the woods quickly turns into nightmare when their young and horny participants are stalked and murdered by three burned killers...Mercifully short slasher stinker with abysmal acting and dumb situations. The film features some of the worst acting performances I have ever seen. The editing is bad,the gore is almost non-existent and three killers are laughable with truly pitiful make-up on their burned faces. They look like forest bums.Jungle sound effects are pathetic.3 burned hobos out of 10.Only for most tolerant slasher collectors.
A group of aspiring young thesps are beset by minacious derelicts during a field trip at a secluded old movie ranch.
There's really very little to be said about HOLLYWOOD'S NEW BLOOD, except that it's a heavyweight contender for "worst slasher movie of all time". It's a faceless fumble in workaday amateurism, lethally dull and almost entirely devoid of any requisite slasher-cinema largess. Watching bad actors portraying actors is always somewhat amusing, but once that minor novelty wears thin, this film's valuation sinks to absolute zero.
Nothing about HOLLYWOOD'S NEW BLOOD is worth a tinker's damn, but what else would you expect from a RAEDON VIDEO inhouse production? 1.5/10...an unpardonable belly-flop which simply must be avoided.

It's cliched! It's boring! It's a stupid, goreless, humorless horror film with no surprises, no scares, no violence, no special effects, no nudity and nothing else of potential interest! It's so bad it makes me want to petition the IMDB for a 0 to be added to the rating system. And it was all shot using a standard VHS camcorder, which you probably have tucked away somewhere in a closet. Hey folks! Why don't we all make our own movies, stick them in a cool video box and trick other hapless people into suffering through them!
The plot revolves around a bunch of dense college-aged acting students who come together one stormy weekend to work on some project at a secluded cabin. Unfortunately for them (and ever more unfortunately for us) some psycho killers who were physically scarred when their house blew up, show up and start killing everyone off. It's just like a home-video quality FRIDAY THE 13TH movie minus all the good stuff. Could a movie be any worse? Geesh, I hope not.
One more thing--although he's not listed here anywhere in the credits, one of the victims is played by Ken Abraham, who acted frequently for David DeCoteau and Rick Sloane.
Score: 1 out of 10.

My review was written in March 1989 after watching the feature on Raedon Entertainment Group video cassette.
The direct-to-video feature "Hollywood's New Blood" is a by-the-numbers horror thriller overly reminiscent of early 1980s pictures.
Though boasting an attractive young cast, feature goes nowhere, with minimal gore and an unscary series of murdes. Sluggish effort ends with ten minutes of repeat footage (to the music of a repetitive song) to pad out the slim running time to feature length.
Star is the immediately familiar Bobby Johnston, star of innumerable softcore sex movies popular on cable tv in the decade of the 1980s. Femme cast is attractive but none of the popular genre actresses of the day.
