Just in Time

Tim Mathisen produced and starred in this Warner Brothers Television mid season series. The permanent sets required two stages, with an additional swing set stage when required. The newsroom setting occupied one stage; the bar-pub restaurant and apartment set on the second stage. Locations centered in the Pasadena area, downtown Los Angeles, Burbank and the West Side of LA (The Blue Whale Design Center). An area earthquake shook the Burbank Studio one morning shutting down the morning filming production and schedule. Network ratings killed an inspired and unusually humorous series in June 1988.
